Mi sono commossa quando avete spiegato come sentite voi la musica, quando avete mostrato l'energia che si crea tra voi due durante la danza anche in una semplice camminata in una perfetta armonia con la musica. Grazie...!

Last year I came here too. I loved it and that's why I will come again. Thank you so much for everything and please keep doing what you do. I appreciate and love to take your seminar again.

Several things seem improved from December 06; - Phrasing was integrated into rhythmical exercises at an earlier stage. - There was more on musicality, still not enough exercises in couples. - Sequences were shorter so we could concentrate more on musical aspects and less on memorizing steps. Apart right work intensity - there was time to try everything + receive help from Gustavo and Giselle when needed.

It was deep and profound subject. I appreciate every minute of the seminar. Everything you taught in the class inspired me to explore tremendously, but it was not difficult. Very well structured. I am also a musician, I appreciate how well it was thought through and presented. I appreciated the wide variety of material within the theme of musicality. It felt very short, I think that's because I was enjoying the seminar very much. I attended your seminar in 2003, after taking your classes in Los Angeles in July /03. I always wanted to come back. Thank you for giving us the top quality of seminar, showing what movement can present. Every word you said was so precious.

Some was very advanced. Most of the figures were intermediate/advanced but the emphasis on rhythm and timing greatly increased the difficulty. Some elements were basic, but again emphasis an timing/rhythm enhanced their value. Very clear and precise analysis. Gustavo & Giselle displayed a great ability to trouble short problems, and find solutions or indicate directions where solutions could be found. Most of the material was manageable at a certain level, some was not. But this was anticipated. All the material was very beautiful. Personally I would love one session at least devoted to milonga.

I always expected the difficulty level to be high starting from a normal level. It makes everyone aware of the endless possibilities. The explanations were clear I always am hoping that there is more time as the more you go the more you want to learn. I wish a lot more from our tango community  can attend your classes. Your workshops always give me a better understanding of techniques for both leader and follower, which I share with others back home. helps me improve my dancing too.

For me it was high level because the Ritmos was something new - I have been dancing regular timing almost exclusively. i would once really enjoy a seminar in which more emphasis would be given to different composer and their musicality, but within the time given it was sufficient. Thank you! The seminar opened a new dimension of tango for me, a dimension I have observed but never really understood.

The seminar was wonderful, I think some figure as the volcada in the rhythm could be replaced by some work on different orchestras. I enjoyed this seminar as never I did before.

Some things were new for me and therefore the level was sometimes high for me, but I think that you covered many areas which I found very good. I liked that you practiced the rhythmical problems with basic steps so it was easier to transfer it into a more complicated step later, because with time we incorporated the rhythmic fully. All in all it was very well done. thank you! it was a pleasure to work with you. The sometimes funny comments were great! What I found was the most important thing that I learned through you is that now I listen differently and more carefully to music. And the discussions were the best.

Very good! Professional! It is always good to really understand all different aspects of tango, so I was very glad about the methods and exercises to go deeper into tango. Personally I would be interested to talk about the meaning of tango and the music. Why do we dance tango? What is so special about tango? It's a big theme, but important. For me the seminar was really successful. I think you are important teachers of our time and I hope can spread out what you know about tango, people need to know these things to become a picture of what is possible on what they don't know. You opened a door for me, Thank you for that!.

De los conocimientos como docentes nos habían hablado, pero a nosotros nos ha sorprendido gratamente la cercanía de Uds y la profesionalidad con que llevan los seminarios. Pensamos que las nociones que nos llevamos las hemos pagado, pero el cariño con el que nos las habeis dado os lo deberemos siempre. Gracias por todo.

The theoretical section on Friday afternoon was really great, a very .....blend of spoken explanation and visual examples, using sample couples and the teachers themselves. It really revealed new facets of the subject. All in all, very very enjoyable. I would do it again.

 Seminar "E"    -    Done from 06^th to 11^th of August 2007

Thematic: "General Program"

This Seminar took place at  the Centro Región Leonesa

The level of difficulty was very satisfying. The level was consistently challenging through out, but not unreasonably difficult. Everything was manageable with enough repetition and focus. The analysis of system was my favorite part as my partner and I have trained in the past w/teachers who have also emphasized the structure. Doing everything to both sides was very helpful for learning. The sequences were all theoretically interesting and useful in terms of learning and improving technique in order to do the steps properly.

It was a high difficulty but I think all was prepared for that. The ped. method was fine with showing an example and then analyzing. The intensity was good. It was a lot of work, as it has to be. I think the historical references about how steps have developed over time was very interesting. It could be more of that.

Me da un poco de pena que haya terminado porque se trabajó muy seriamente, también hubo momentos de relajación y resulta ser muy agradable. Quizás faltó algo de tiempo para asimilar toda la información.

Excelente en la explicación, claro en los conceptos, explícito en la demostración. Me hubiera gustado más tiempo para mi elaboración pero eso hubiera demandado 2 semanas más. Particularmente estoy investigando y trabajando sobre la evolución del tango. Creo reconocer en Gustavo y Giselle verdaderos maestros, en el sentido no sólo de su capacidad de enseñar, sino en la riqueza del trabajo de investigación análisis y creación de esta danza portentosa. GRACIAS !!!!!

The way you did both is absolutely professional!!

Hay muy buenos bailarines que ignoran gran parte de la técnica aplicada. Hay muy buenos maestros, aunque pocos, que conocen gran parte de la técnica pero que les resulta difícil aplicarla. Es una gran virtud ser excelentes maestros y bailarines. Ustedes lo son. Gracias nuevamente!!!

This is the second time I take the seminar and I think I was more ready for it now than the first time. It was easier and gave us opportunity to clean up some things we had learnt before. It is always a pleasure to work with you and thank you very much for this opportunity.

Fue muy completo y además me abrió la mente sobre toda la estructura musical dentro del baile. Fue un recorrido de todo lo que compone el baile con precisiones y sutilidades que ayudan a lograr la superación de los errores. GRACIAS!!!!! Muchísimas pero muchísimas gracias!! Salgo de acá muy contenta, ya tengo herramientas para seguir bailando y tengo la apertura sobre la música que me faltaba para poner los pasos a tiempo y jugar con la música!! También me gustó bastante la partecita histórica de la estructura del baile y de los años 20 y ....etc., muy interesante!! Gracias por compartir su pasión.

El nivel de dificultad estuvo acorde a la cantidad de temas abarcados. La metodología fue muy interesante e inteligente. El material de pasos resultó muy útil. Fue muy bueno conocer la "historia" de algunos movimientos o figuras y sus protagonistas. Si pueden incluyan más de estos comentarios en las clases. Me gustaría recibir información de sus seminarios futuros en BsAs.

Thematic: "Inclination of the axis: Colgadas & Volcadas"

This Seminar took place at  the Centro Región Leonesa

This Seminar was extremely well organized, the material was presented in a logical fashion and was both challenging and instructional. I could see my technique improve during the seminar with the instruction received and the material given (sequences). I feel that I can continue to learn to make colgadas & volcadas and to integrate them in my dancing. The concepts and techniques were very clear and useful. The details on the leading from Giselle was a great help in making many of the sequences work well.

Pienso que fue importante la marcación enfática de una postura, de su pasaje de peso, y también la demostración de la actitud que se debe poner en el baile, en los ejercicios, en fin, el tema de la interpretación.

La pedagogia, in generale, mi ha impressionato, e'stato illuminante....!! Molto equilibrati i momenti di spiegazione con quelli di lavoro in copia. Alla fine l'intensita è giusta.

Yes, what I liked specially was the unusual / unexpected / breaking the patterns. I was great. Good atmosphere - humor - keeping a nice energy of the group & work. Thank you for all you give.
